Plastic Bottles and BPA
Polycarbonate bottles (#7 recycling code) contain a chemical that inferferes with your endocrine system. This chemical is BPA. In the BPA free polycarbonate bottles, this chemical is BPS. Both chemicals are endocrine disrupters.
The other plastic bottles (#1 - #6 recycling codes) have other chemicals that leach into the water.
In general, all plastic is made from petrochemicals and therefore leach chemicals into the water.
Plastic vs Glass vs POU Filtration
Plastic
Polycarbonate plastic is inexpensive and durable. Polycarbonate with BPA is a lot stronger and more durable than the polycarbonate with BPS.
All other plastics bottles leach petrochemicals, so avoid them.
Glass
Glass does not leach chemicals, so it is the safest.
POU Filtration
Point of Use (POU) filters make pure water where it is consumed. Therefore no wasted energy transporting the water.
Dispensing Water
Come to our showroom and see the many choices for dispensing your water. We offer; Hot/Cold dispensers, pumps, crocks, stands, cradles and we can add a spigot to any bottle.
Personal Containers
We carry Nalgene, Camelbak, Hydro Flask and Klean Kanteen containers. If you do not see what you want, ask and we will order it.
Bottle Washer
We have a bottle washer that uses our pure water, heated up, and it sprays into the botle with high pressure. This is very effect at cleaning the inside of the bottle, and does it without chemicals, only pure water.
Vending Machine
Our vending machine is available 24 hours. The same great water at the same price as inside.
Pre Paid Water Credits
Rather than paying for your water each visit, you can pre pay for your water. We will keep track of your remaining gallons (no card to carry). Simply tell us your name and we will enter the gallons each visit and tell you how many gallons remaining on the account.
8 Steps to Purify the Water
Our water if purified with an 8 step process. The heart of the process is Reverse Osmosis. To make the Reverse Osmosis membrane more effective and effecient, we boost the pressure to over 200psi. Then for extra purity we run it through a second Reverse Osmosis membrane.
We test our water several times a day to ensure the best quality water for our customers.
