We look at city water in 3 parts
1.Hardness – The water is very hard in this area. The national standard considers 10grains of hardness to be very hard water. This area has 15 to 20 grains of hardness.
2.Chlorine – Chlorine kills organic matter. Mainly an issue while showering. It becomes a vapor and we breathe it in while showering causing damage to our lungs. Chlorine can also irritate the skin, causing a rash.
3. All the other contaminants – Arsenic, nitrates, fluoride, radioactive, radon…who wants to drink chemicals?
